Northern Colorado Artist Community meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Stated Purpose:
NOCOAC shall enhance lives through all forms and dissemination of art; encouraging and supporting individual expression, providing public presentations, involving and expanding community programs at all levels and promoting art appreciation.
Year, State Incorporated:
2022, CO
Northern Colorado Artist Community (NOCOAC) is building a creative arts destination and expanding the definition of art by acknowledging the artist within. We know, each of us has an inner artist and that creative kernel is there to be nourished at any age. It doesn’t have to be with a paint brush or pencil. It can be with a whisk or garden hoe or even a horse bridle. Our diverse programing stimulates imaginations, fosters problem solving and observational skills and nurtures and engages the senses. Programing such as art education with adults and children and community story telling. NOCOAC encourages the exchange of art with other communities for the advancement of expression, aesthetics, social awareness and integration. We promote and provide public art and artists’ exhibits in various locals as well as provide space for the community and artists to share works and ideas. NOCOAC collaborates with art-centric organizations to increase public consciousness of our artistic missions in Northern Colorado.
