Louisville Public Media is an independent, community-supported nonprofit serving the community on the web, on the radio, through podcasts, and community events. It is home to three public radio stations — a classical station, indie rock station, and NPR affiliate news station — and an investigative reporting center. Local journalism, podcasts, events, and educational experiences are key activities beyond the radio. 89.3 WFPL News Louisville provides the essential news and resources you need to understand and make decisions about your community and the world. Louisville Public Media is an independent, nonpartisan news outlet that reports without fear or favor. It does fact-based reporting that is free from political and corporate influence. It produces and distributes daily journalism online and through broadcast and digital audio. It is the NPR affiliate serving Greater Louisville, Kentucky, and Southern Indiana. 90.5 WUOL is Louisville’s only classical station and operates music education and instrument donation programs for underserved students. 91.9 WFPK showcases an array of musical genres, hosts the annual Waterfront Wednesday concert series, and serves the community through monthly Mental Health Days. Across broadcast, streaming services, the web, email newsletters, and podcasts, Louisville Public Media reaches approximately 1 million people annually.
