It adopts carefully selected mixed breed puppies or dogs from rescue organizations. It uses Volunteer Puppy Raisers, guided by its Trainers, to raise and train the dogs to become service dogs. It trains and provides free service dogs for people with physical disabilities other than blindness, and veterans. It also provides free follow-up support services once the dog is placed with a recipient.
