Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries, including multiple limb amputations, partial or total paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These mortgage-free homes are built with over 40 major adaptations to provide barrier-free living to the Veterans, with the aim of restoring some of their freedom and independence. HFOT builds homes where the Veterans choose to live and continues its relationship with them after home delivery to support them in rebuilding their lives.
