Standard 19 (Cause Related Marketing)
                                        Clearly disclose how the charity benefits from the sale of products or services (i.e., cause-related marketing) that state or imply that a charity will benefit from a consumer sale or transaction. Such promotions should disclose, at the point of solicitation: (a) the actual or anticipated portion of the purchase price that will benefit the charity (e.g., 5 cents will be contributed to abc charity for every xyz company product sold), (b) the duration of the campaign (e.g., the month of October), (c) any maximum or guaranteed minimum contribution amount (e.g., up to a maximum of $200,000).

Outreach United Resource Center (OUR Center) reports that it provides basic needs and services for people to work towards self-sufficiency. The organization categorizes its programs into four areas: hospitality care, support network, personal development, and family forward. OUR Center’s hospitality care programs offer participants a community closet of gently used clothes and household items, a community café where clients are served breakfasts and lunches, and a community market where participants can shop for shelf-stable foods and fresh produce. The organization’s support network partners with local agencies to offer rent and utility assistance, housing, employment, and healthcare referrals. The organization’s personal development programs offer life and financial skills classes. OUR Center’s family forward programs offer childcare, child and adult education, and parenting support.
