The Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation (WWHF) reports that it provides free health services and education to women and families. The organization’s services aim to improve health outcomes of individuals, regardless of socioeconomic status, race, or gender, with a focus on maternal and child health. WWHF’s Well Badger Resource Center connects individuals with health and social services via one-on-one conversations with resource specialists throughout Wisconsin and an online searchable directory of over 7,500 verified health and social service resources. The Center also houses the Youth Wellness Hub, an online, personalized, and anonymous tool that helps parents, caregivers, and professionals navigate mental and behavioral health services for children and young people. The organization’s First Breath program supports pregnant, postpartum, and caregiving individuals to become and stay substance-free from alcohol, tobacco, and other substances. WWHF health educators provide screening, education, and early intervention services to stop or reduce pregnancy and postpartum substance use. GrapeVine is the organization’s community-based chronic disease prevention program that helps Wisconsin residents work to achieve their healthiest potential. Through providing health information on 13 different women’s health topics, WWHF educates constituents about breast health, diabetes prevention, mental health, sleep, and gynecologic cancers. In 2024, WWHF reports the Well Badger Resource Center facilitated 14,605 referrals and supported 2,946 cases.
