Have a board policy of assessing, no less than every two years, the organization's performance and effectiveness and of determining future actions required to achieve its mission.
MWMW does not meet this Standard because:
- The board of directors does not have a written policy stating that, at least every two years, an appraisal be done assessing the organization’s performance and effectiveness and determining future actions required to achieve its mission.

Submit to the organization's governing body, for its approval, a written report that outlines the results of the aforementioned performance and effectiveness assessment and recommendations for future actions.

Mission Waco Mission World (MWMW) strives to address poverty in Waco, Texas, and to eliminate poverty across the world. MWMW offers an introduction to poverty and development issues through tours, weekend simulations, and group volunteering opportunities. The organization also reports serving the local disadvantaged and marginalized, including children, youth, and adults. Adult programs include drug and alcohol recovery, residential treatment, homeless shelter, walk-in center for the homeless, free health clinic, GED classes, and job-training. Children and youth programs include job readiness/college search, after-school enrichment classes (theater, dance, art, STEM), and mentoring. The organization's retail programs provide economic development opportunities, a gathering place, and a livable wage for people of all backgrounds.
