The Guardian Group reports it utilizes the skills and expertise of intelligence analysts to identify and locate women and minors who are victims of sex trafficking. The organization’s staff and volunteers employ a crowdsourcing process and platform called Project 1591, to identify underage victims and share potential leads with law enforcement. The Guardian Group provides their services at no cost to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. In 2022, the organization reports it trained 574 individuals, and identified 102 victims of sex trafficking.
