Statement Arts reports that it provides free arts education and college readiness programming to students from historically under-resourced communities in New York City. Through its Continuum of Service model, the organization supports students from elementary school through college and beyond, offering engagement, skill development, and leadership opportunities. Statement Arts' StART Young Summer Music and Theater program operates as a three-week summer session for students in grades 3–11. Participants receive daily instruction in music, theater, writing, and choreography. The program culminates in a student-devised mini-musical performance. The organization states that approximately 50 young people participate each summer. StART Dreaming College Readiness is a yearlong performing arts and college readiness program for rising high school seniors. The session begins with a four-week intensive where students study acting, voice, and dance, and receive guided support in crafting college essays.
