Statement Arts reports that it provides free arts education and college readiness programming to students from historically under-resourced communities in New York City. Statement Arts' StART Young Summer Music and Theater program operates as a three-week summer session for students in grades 3–11. Participants receive daily instruction in music, theater, writing, and choreography. The program culminates in a student-devised mini-musical performance. The organization states that approximately 50 young people participate each summer. StART Dreaming College Readiness is a yearlong performing arts and college readiness program for rising high school seniors.
