Native Forward Scholars Fund (NFSF) is a national scholarship provider for Native students pursuing higher education in the United States. The organization administers more than 30 scholarship programs with scholarships ranging from $250 to $30,000 annually, in addition to offering an array of support services that are designed specifically to address the needs of Native students in post-secondary education. NFSF reports that its student support program provides culturally responsive support services using a one-on-one, three-touchpoint student outreach system, which the organization combines with their student programming via webinars and workshops to help Native scholars build networks and skills. In 2023, NFSF states that it awarded approximately $11 million in direct scholarship support to 1,343 individuals representing 193 Tribes and 43 states.
