Also Known As:
CASA of St. Louis County, St. Louis City CASA, Voices for Children (now CASA of St. Louis)
CASA of St. Louis recruits, trains and supports volunteer advocates who address each child's interrelated educational, physical health, mental health, and social needs. They provide a consistent, reliable adult presence to develop trust and resilience in a time of turmoil. Through its work, children in foster care are given a voice in court and in the community to help them heal from trauma and achieve a safe, permanent home when their case closes. It serves children in the juvenile courts of St. Louis City and St. Louis County. CASA of St. Louis is the only area organization providing legal and social advocacy for children in foster care—work it has done for over forty years.
