BBB Wise Giving Alliance is migrating to a new charity questionnaire and reporting system. The new system will include our regional Better Business Bureau (BBB) partners and provide a more uniform, streamlined experience for charities.
Key Updates:

Active charity questionnaires must be submitted by May 31, 2026. After that date, progress on any portal.give.org questionnaire that has not been submitted will be lost.

New charity enrollments are paused. Online charity enrollment will not be available during the transition. Charities can sign up to be notified when enrollment re-opens.

Submitted questionnaires and published charity reports on Give.org will not be affected. We will continue to assist with submitted and published reports during the transition.

Charity Accredited Seal participation will continue. Contact your BBB or BBB Wise Giving Alliance representative regarding enrolling your BBB Accredited Charity in the Seal program.
We will update this page with additional details, including the launch timeline for the new system and when new charity enrollment becomes available again.

Submit Your Charity Questionnaire by May 31, 2026
If your organization is currently completing a charity questionnaire on portal.give.org, please submit it by May 31, 2026.
After that date, any questionnaire progress will be lost and your organization will need to start over when the new system launches.
If you are working directly with your local BBB, we recommend contacting your BBB representative with questions about questionnaire timing.
New Charity Enrollments Are Paused
If your organization is not currently listed on Give.org and would like to enroll, we recommend waiting until the new system launches.
The online enrollment form will not be available during the transition. However, you may submit your contact information, and we will notify you when enrollment becomes available again.

Report Updates and Reports in Progress Will Continue
We will continue to assist with report updates during the transition. If your organization already has a report on Give.org, recently submitted a questionnaire, or is currently working with us on a report, please contact your BBB representative with any questions or updates.
Charity Seal Participation Will Continue
If your organization is already BBB Accredited and is interested in participating in the BBB Accredited Charity Seal program, please contact your BBB or BBB Wise Giving Alliance representative, or email info@give.org.
