Alight aims to help victims of war and civil conflicts rebuild their lives. In addition, Alight approaches new program development using a human-centered design approach to identify community needs and to design appropriate responses. The organization currently operates in eleven countries and provides programs in areas such as healthcare, gender-based violence (GBV), protection, camp management, livelihoods, shelter, education. Through its healthcare program, Alight provides nutrition, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases as well as sanitation services. The organization also helps refugees who are returning home after decades of civil war, rebuild their lives and communities.
