Project HOPE - The People-to-People Health Foundation (Project HOPE) reports that it supports sustainable programs and activities to solve global public health challenges. The organization's disaster and health crisis program provides emergency health related assistance, including medicine, medical supplies, and volunteer healthcare support to fill gaps during emergency periods. Project HOPE states that its global health program operates in 28 countries, where it partners with local ministries of health, other non-profits, and funding partners to address the health needs of vulnerable populations. Vulnerable populations are served through the provision of health programming and healthcare worker training in the areas of infectious and chronic diseases, and maternal, neonatal, and child health. The organization also publishes the monthly journal, Health Affairs, which addresses health policy and research. In 2020, Project HOPE reports that its programs served more than 1.4 million individuals, which included 200,000 individuals screened and tested for disease and 116,000 healthcare workers and first responders trained.
