Stated Purpose
"to enhance the quality of life for people with genetic bleeding disorders and their families, through advocacy, education, research and other constituency services."
The Northern Ohio Hemophilia Foundation (NOHF) serves members with bleeding disorders in 24 counties of northeast Ohio. Membership to the NOHF is free for people who have a diagnosed, inherited bleeding disorder and includes the opportunity to participate in social, educational and wellness programs. Other services are optional and available to some eligible members. Services provided include: annual MedicAlert membership and emblem, access to dental program, camp and educational scholarships, counseling reimbursement, wellness/safe sports programs (yoga, golf, swim), social and educational programming, emergency financial assistance, and travel stipends to regional programs.
