Medical care services include primary and specialty referrals, counseling, diabetic testing, nutrition services, dental services, medical interpreters, and prescription medications. The organization works to not only improve the health of low-income individuals but to also improve the quality of life and reduce the loss of workplace productivity within the community. The organization states that its health clinic also serves as a teaching clinic for medical, dental, and pharmacy students. Through its clinic, GSMO also collaborates with universities and other non-profits to provide healthcare to low-income individuals within the community. In 2018, the organization reports that it received 8,001 patient visits, 3,241 pharmacy visits, 2,573 dental visits, and 1,249 medical visits. In addition, GSMO had a total of 596 volunteer medical professionals provide services to the local community.
